When leaks occur they often generate an ultrasonic frequency that is beyond human hearing. These units convert the sounds into an auduble range for easy detection. The ULD-300 tests pressurized air lines, refrigeration systems, steam lines for leaks. Check for door or trunk seals, windshield leaks. Quickly and easily locate a leak location with this unique device.

Detects any pressurized gas leak regardless of type CFCs, HFCs, Nitrogen, etc. (non-combustible gas)

In areas where leaking gases are not sufficiently pressurized, there is no ultrasonic sound for detection. The area can be pressurized with the ultrasonic sound waves created by Amprobe's UT-300 Ultrasonic Transmitter. This will allow the detection of cracks which would not normally be possible.
